Note: This master is taught in Portuguese.

  • Holders of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in the area of Conservation and Restoration or similar;
     
  • Holders of a foreign higher academic degree conferred following a 1st cycle of studies, organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this Process, in the area of Conservation and Restoration;
     
  • Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as satisfying the objectives of the degree by the Scientific Council of the School of Arts, in the field of Conservation and Restoration;
     
  • Holders of an academic, scientific, or professional curriculum that is recognized by the Scientific Council of the School of Arts as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies, under legal terms.

*Interviews will only be held for applicants with a bachelor’s degree awarded by Faculty other than the School of Arts – Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

The 2nd and 3rd calls for applications will open depending on the number of vacancies available after the previous call.


Places available: 14 (divided over the three application calls)

  • Copy of the Personal Identification Document / Passport
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Applicants who have already graduated must submit a Diploma or Certificate including a transcript of records (detailed information on the subjects and grades), mentioning a final grade for the degree and grading scale;

 

Documents issued in other countries must be legalized by the Portuguese diplomatic or consular authority in the issuing country, or contain the Hague Apostille, except for United Kingdom, and countries from EU,  European Economic Area, or European Free Trade Association. 

Any certificate or transcript not issued in English, French, or Spanish, must be accompanied by a certified translation.

Your admission will only be considered valid after the payment of the respective fee has been confirmed by UCP, so you should make your payment according to the ATM references(for Portuguese bank accounts) or the bank data (international bank transfers) indicated in the final admission information.

The results will be published on a digital platform with restricted access to candidates, who will receive the credentials and access link by email, on a date close to their publication. 

For the registration process, it will be necessary the following documents:

  • Registration form and other specific documents to be indicated at the time of admission
  • Proof of payment of the registration fee and first monthly tuition (see the "Fees and Tuitions” tab)
  • 1 passport-type photo
  • Information requested by the Portuguese Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education (RAIDES survey)
  • Copy of the Vaccination card with the date of the last Tetanus immunization

The originals of the qualification certificates (duly legalized if issued in a foreign country) must be presented on a date and time to be indicated by the Academic Services.
