Professionals from companies/cooperatives/institutions in the wine sector with higher education in the areas of Sciences or Engineering* may apply, aiming to develop their professional skills through acquiring new knowledge, practices, and contacts with different business realities.

Candidates should have basic knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry as well as oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish.

*Candidates with other academic backgrounds may be admitted when their professional profile justifies it.

Documents issued in other countries must be legalized by the Portuguese diplomatic or consular authority in the issuing country, or bear the Hague Apostille.

When these documents are written in a foreign language other than Spanish, English, French, or Italian, the respective translation must be provided, carried out under the terms established by notarial law.

Please ensure that applications are open beforehand.
 

After submitting the application, its receipt will be confirmed along with payment information (Multibanco reference for candidates residing in Portugal or IBAN for candidates residing abroad). The application will only be effective once payment has been made.

Your application will only be valid after payment of the respective fee has been confirmed by UCP, so you should make the payment according to the Multibanco references provided in the final application information.

Application and enrollment fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, even if the student cancels enrollment before the course starts. A refund of the first installment will be granted provided the student announces their withdrawal before classes begin, by submitting an online request to the Faculty Management.

The results will be published on a digital platform with restricted access for candidates, who will receive credentials and an access link by email near the date of publication. The results will be presented with one of the following designations:

  • Admitted” – if the candidate is admitted without any conditions

  • Conditionally Admitted” – admission depends on the completion of the bachelor’s degree and submission of the respective supporting documents by the stipulated date

  • Not Admitted

Only Admitted candidates will be able to complete enrollment.

Enrollments will be carried out through an online system, access to which will be granted to admitted candidates after the publication of results. On this platform, it will be necessary to submit:

  • Passport-style photograph (*.JPG, *.PNG, or *.GIF)
  • Copy of the vaccination record to prove tetanus vaccination (only the page related to this record)
  • Enrollment form and other specific documents to be indicated at the time of admission
  • Proof of payment of the enrollment fee and first installment (payment methods information will be provided in the communication regarding access to the enrollment platform)

It is assumed that the candidate withdraws if enrollment is not completed within the stipulated deadline.

The original documents previously submitted must be presented on a date and time to be defined by the Academic Services.
