Academic Year 2026/2027- Opening Notice
Note: This course is fully taught in Portuguese.
Students with the following academic path are eligible to apply:
- a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or legally equivalent qualification obtained in Portugal;
- a foreign higher academic degree in Psychology, recognised as meeting the objectives of a Bachelor’s degree by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Education and Psychology;
- an academic, scientific, or professional curriculum recognised as demonstrating the capacity to undertake the Postgraduate Programme by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Education and Psychology.

The opening of applications in each phase depends on the vacancies remaining from the previous call.

* NOTES:
The original certificate must be presented, in case of admission, before the start of classes, on a date and time to be defined by the Academic Services. Documents issued in other countries must be legalized by the Portuguese diplomatic or consular authority in the issuing country, or bear the Hague Apostille. When documents are written in a foreign language other than Spanish, English or French, a translation must be provided, carried out under the terms established by notarial law.
Please ensure that applications are open before proceeding.

After submitting your application, you will receive confirmation of its receipt, along with payment information (Multibanco reference for candidates residing in Portugal or IBAN for candidates residing abroad). The application will only be considered effective once payment has been made.

Your application will only be valid once the corresponding fee payment has been confirmed by UCP, so you must make the payment according to the ATM references provided in the final application information.

Application and enrolment fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, even if the student cancels the enrolment before the start of the course. A refund of the first instalment will only be granted if the student announces their withdrawal before the start of classes, through an online request addressed to the Faculty Board.
The results will be published on a digital platform with restricted access for candidates, who will receive credentials and an access link by email, on a date close to the publication of the results, with one of the following statuses:
“Admitted” - if the candidate is admitted without any conditions
“Admitted Conditionally” - admission depends on the completion of the degree and submission of the respective supporting documents by the stipulated date
“Not Admitted”
Only admitted applicants will be able to enrol.
Enrolments will be carried out through an online system, access to which will be granted to admitted candidates after the publication of results. On this platform, it will be necessary to submit:
- Passport-style photograph (*.JPG, *.PNG, or *.GIF)
- Copy of the vaccination record to prove tetanus vaccination (only the page relating to this record)
- Enrolment form and other specific documents to be indicated at the time of admission
- Proof of payment of the enrolment fee and the 1st monthly installment (payment method details will be provided in the communication granting access to the enrolment platform)
Failure to complete enrolment within the stipulated deadline will be considered as withdrawal by the candidate.
Originals of the previously submitted documents must be presented at a date and time to be scheduled by the Academic Services.
