The following individuals are eligible to apply for the Postgraduate Programme in School Psychology (alternatively):

• Holders of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, legally equivalent and obtained in Portugal, or a foreign higher academic degree in Psychology, recognised as fulfilling the objectives of a Bachelor's degree by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Education and Psychology;
• Registered members of the Portuguese Psychologists’ Association as junior or full psychologists.

The opening of applications in each phase depends on the remaining places from the previous phase.

• Copy of Identification document (Identity Card / Citizen Card or Passport)
• Academic qualifications certificate*
• Curriculum Vitae
• Proof of residence (required for eligibility for the PRR scholarship)

*Note: The original certificate must be presented, in case of admission, before the start of classes, on a date and time to be set by the Academic Services. Documents issued in other countries must be legalized by the Portuguese diplomatic or consular authority in the issuing country, or bear the Hague Apostille. When documents are written in a foreign language other than Spanish, English, French or Italian, the corresponding translation must be submitted, carried out in accordance with the provisions of notarial law.

Your application will only be valid once the payment of the respective fee has been confirmed by UCP. Therefore, you should make the payment according to the Multibanco references provided in the final application information and send the payment proof to (candidaturas.porto@ucp.pt).

The results will be expressed, in each phase, as follows:

• “Admitted”
• “Conditionally Admitted” – admission depending on the submission of the respective psychology qualification documents by the stipulated date
• “Not Admitted”

Enrollment information will be sent to admitted candidates after the publication of results. For this process, it will be necessary to gather the following documents:

• Passport-style photograph (*.JPG, *.PNG or *.GIF)
• Copy of the vaccination record to prove tetanus vaccination (only the page related to this record)
• Enrollment form and other specific documents to be indicated at the time of admission
• Proof of payment of the enrollment fee and the first installment (information on payment methods will be provided in the communication granting access to the enrollment platform)

Failure to complete enrollment within the stipulated deadline will be considered a withdrawal by the candidate.

The originals of the previously submitted documents (academic certificates and other documents) must be presented before the start of classes, at a date and time to be determined by the Academic Services.
