Prerequisite

Applications to the Bachelor's Degree in Cinema require a prerequisite, the grade of which contributes to the candidate's ranking.

The prerequisite consists of an Interview, which is both eliminatory and used for ranking purposes, regardless of the candidate’s admission pathway. This interview is based on the completion of a vocational questionnaire and the submission of an artistic portfolio (the latter is optional but recommended).

Approved candidates will receive a final score between 0 and 200. Candidates who score below 95 points will be listed as Not Eligible.

Vocational Questionnaire

When submitting the application, applicants must also submit a questionnaire detailing their academic and personal journey to date. This document will form the basis for their profile analysis and personal interview.

Submission of Artistic Portfolio

The absence of a portfolio does not exclude the candidate from fulfilling the prerequisite. However, submitting one is highly recommended. The portfolio must be submitted through the application platform and should include a link to a personal drive folder (Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive). It should be a carefully presented and organized collection of projects. Preference is given to projects related to cinema and audiovisual work, but work in other artistic areas (photography and visual arts, painting and fine arts, prose and poetry, literary or philosophical essays, film reviews, etc.) will also be considered.

Revalidation of the Prerequisite Completed in the previous academic year

Applicants who passed the prerequisite in the previous academic year may revalidate their score. If they choose to retake the prerequisite, the most recent score will prevail, even if it is lower.
