Candidates eligible for the Postgraduate Programme in Sports Psychology and Performance are holders of:

• a degree in Psychology or its legal equivalent obtained in Portugal, who are registered with the Portuguese Psychologists’ Association as full members or junior psychologists;
• a foreign higher academic degree in Psychology, recognized as meeting the objectives of the bachelor’s degree by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Education and Psychology;
• an academic, scientific, or professional curriculum recognized as demonstrating the capacity to undertake the Postgraduate Programme by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Education and Psychology.

The opening of applications in each phase depends on the remaining vacancies from the previous phase.

• Copy of Identification document (Identity Card / Citizen Card or Passport)
• Certificate of academic qualifications*
• Curriculum Vitae (specific template)
• Proof of residence (required condition for eligibility for the PRR scholarship)

*Note: The original certificate must be presented, if admitted, before the start of classes, on a date and time to be defined by the Academic Services. Documents issued in other countries must be legalized by a Portuguese diplomatic or consular authority in the issuing country, or bear the Hague Apostille. When documents are in a foreign language other than Spanish, English, French, or Italian, a certified translation, prepared under the terms of notarial law, must be submitted.

Your application will only be valid once the payment of the respective fee has been confirmed by UCP. Therefore, you must make the payment according to the Multibanco references indicated in the final application information, and send the payment proof to (candidaturas.porto@ucp.pt).

Please consult the Fees and Tuition section for information regarding application fees, registration, tuition fees, as well as other payment-related details.

The results will be expressed, at each stage, as follows:

• “Admitted”
• “Conditionally Admitted” – admission dependent on the presentation of the respective documents proving training in psychology by the stipulated date.
• “Not Admitted”

Enrollment information will be sent to admitted candidates after the publication of results. For this process, the following documents will need to be gathered:

• Passport-style photograph (*.JPG, *.PNG, or *.GIF)
• Copy of the vaccination record to prove the tetanus vaccine (only the page related to this record)
• Enrollment form and other specific documents to be indicated at the time of admission
• Proof of payment of the enrollment fee and the 1st installment (payment methods will be provided in the communication regarding access to the enrollment platform)

Failure to complete enrollment within the stipulated deadline will be considered as withdrawal by the candidate.

Originals of previously submitted documents (academic certificate and other documents) must be presented before the start of classes, on a date and time to be defined by the Academic Services.
